The Sabo Typist Agreement

This is the agreement between you and Leo Bruno, who makes Sabo Typist. You agree to it by installing Sabo Typist, or by using it after the trial. It is short so that you can read all of it.

1. What you buy

Ten dollars buys one licence, for one person: you. With it you may use Sabo Typist on every Mac you use yourself, for as long as you like, and download every new version for as long as there are new versions.

The licence comes as a key. The key has your email address and your purchase reference written into it, and it is signed, so it cannot be changed without breaking it. Sabo Typist shows whose key it is. A key is only good for the person it names.

2. The trial

Without a key, Sabo Typist runs for 14 days on each Mac, with nothing held back. After that it asks for a key. Using the trial does not break this agreement.

3. What you may do

• Install Sabo Typist on every Mac you use yourself, at home and at work.
• Keep the installer and your key for yourself: in backups, on an old Mac, on a new one.
• Install it again as often as you need to.
• Let anyone read, print, publish or sell what you wrote with it.

4. What breaks this agreement

Each of these breaks it:

1. Giving your key to anyone else, or putting it anywhere others can find it.
2. Giving the address of your download page to anyone else, or putting it anywhere others can find it.
3. Giving the installer or the disk image to anyone else, or putting it up for download, so that they can use Sabo Typist without buying it.
4. Using a key that names someone else.
5. Selling, renting or lending Sabo Typist or a key.
6. Changing Sabo Typist so that it stops asking for a key, or making or passing on anything that does.

Nothing else breaks it. A friend who wants to try Sabo Typist can have the trial from sabotypist.com, and keep it by buying a key of their own.

5. If it is broken

The licence ends for the key involved. A key found posted where others can find it may be refused by later versions of Sabo Typist. Leo Bruno keeps every right the law gives the maker of a program.

Sabo Typist does not check your key over the internet and never will. It has no way to report anything about you, and it will not be given one to enforce this agreement.

6. Your writing

What you write with Sabo Typist is yours. This agreement gives nobody any claim to it. Your documents are plain files in your Documents folder that any program can open: with a key, without one, and after the trial.

7. Refunds

If you want your money back, write to help@sabotypist.com. No questions are asked. The licence ends with the refund, and so does the key.

8. No warranty

Sabo Typist is sold as it is, with no warranty of any kind. Its maker uses it every day, but you should keep backups of anything you care about. As far as the law allows, Leo Bruno is not liable for anything that comes of using Sabo Typist beyond the ten dollars you paid.

9. Later versions

A later version of Sabo Typist may come with a later version of this agreement. Each version of Sabo Typist is covered by the agreement that came with it.
